1 out of 4 students in our community who enter 9th grade don't graduate from high school. The good news is that middle school students with at least one helpful adult in their lives are almost twice as likely to graduate.
Volunteer just one hour a week to mentor or tutor a kid, and you’ll be amazed at the difference it makes.

How We Do the Work
We are holding ourselves more accountable to the community, to ensure that the funds invested in United Way are used to create real, long-term change. Through a research study by the Ray Marshal Center and with the help of countless community stakeholders, we've identified very specific, measurable outcomes we hope to achieve around key community issue areas: Education, Financial Stability, and Health.
