How to be an advocate in Central Texas

Stand up for what you believe in.

What does it mean to advocate? It’s a power that we all have. It’s standing up for others and what you believe in your heart. It can be championing a cause. Or, simply not being silent. Living united means finding your voice and joining it with others. Change is possible. United, we will be heard.

Growing up, most of us had someone who made all the difference in our lives. Maybe it was a parent or grandparent. A teacher. A friend. An adult who understood you and cared about you. As you were growing up, that person was someone you could look up to.
