Instructions for Searching the Database
Social service professionals and individuals in need can search the 2-1-1 online database for available services by topic, program name, or agency name. For each program entry, the database provides a description of services, eligibility requirements, and contact information.
The database contains information about social services provided by nonprofits, government agencies, and faith-based organizations in Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Hays, Fayette, Lee, Llano, Travis, and Williamson counties.
Step 1
Fill in a zip code or city to find resources serving a specific geographic area. Fill in an age or select a gender, if needed. This step limits your search results and is optional.
Step 2
Choose one of the search options listed below:
Search for Services by Keyword
Type in a word or phrase, and click ”Search.” Keep your search simple. If the word or phrase you type does not yield results, try shortening the number of words used. The default search setting is “Partial Word” and will provide the greatest number of results.
Example searches: clothing, counseling, disabilities, education, electric bill, food, legal, rent assistance, SSI.
See a List of Services by Category
Select this option to view broad categories of services, which narrow to smaller sub-categories.
Search for Organizations or Programs by Name
Type an organization, agency, or program name. This option searches all former names, acronyms, and spelling variations. Keep your search simple. If the word or phrase you type does not yield results, try shortening the number of words used.
Example searches: AARP, Bastrop ISD, Habitat for Humanity, Legal Aid, WIC
