The Success By 6 initiative is based on long-term research on brain development, quality child care, and successful early intervention. According to recent medical and scientific studies, the experiences of young children during their first six years have a lasting impact on their later success in school and life. This research provides the underlying rationale for Success By 6 and helps mobilize communities in their efforts to support young children and families.
Success By 6 works to attain broad, community-level change by addressing system barriers that negatively impact children and families in areas such as health, safety, child care, and early childhood education.
