United Way Capital Area Partners
United Way Capital Area was built on the belief that together, we can accomplish more than any individual or organization can alone. It’s why UWCA invests your dollars in three focus areas: education, income and health. These are the areas of greatest need in the Austin and Central Texas region.
UWCA partners with a number of nonprofits, cities and counties, government agencies and others to make long-term changes in community conditions. Since 2007, UWCA’s fundraising efforts through workplace giving campaigns resulted in approximately $40 million being invested in community programs and services.
In addition to our own community programs such as Success By 6, Bank on Central Texas and 1 Hour for Kids, UWCA also awards Community Investment grants to agencies that demonstrate they can make a long-term impact in one of our focus areas. These partners include:
